PLATFORM FEE POLICY

DAWG – Platform Fee Policy

This Platform Fee Policy explains how DAWG may charge, retain, apply, adjust, or display platform-related fees in connection with bookings, payments, refunds, disputes, and trainer payouts made through the DAWG platform.

By using DAWG to book, pay for, offer, or receive training services, you agree to this Platform Fee Policy.

1. GENERAL PRINCIPLES
 

DAWG may charge platform fees in connection with bookings, payments, use of marketplace features, and related platform operations.
 

Platform fees may be charged to Guardians, retained by DAWG, deducted from booking-related payment flows, or otherwise reflected in transaction breakdowns shown in-product.
 

Displayed fees, payout estimates, refund estimates, and transaction summaries may be subject to change based on payment status, session status, refunds, reversals, disputes, and processor outcomes.

2. GUARDIAN FEES
 

When a Guardian books and pays for a session through DAWG, the total amount charged may include:

  • The Trainer’s session fee

  • A DAWG platform fee

  • Any taxes, processing-related amounts, or other disclosed charges, if applicable

 

The exact amounts shown at checkout control for that transaction unless otherwise required by law.

3. TRAINER PAYOUTS
 

Trainer payout amounts are not the same as the total amount paid by the Guardian.
 

Trainer payout outcomes depend on factors including:

  • The Trainer’s listed session price

  • Any DAWG platform fee

  • Refunds, partial refunds, reversals, or credits

  • Chargebacks or disputes

  • Stripe or processor settlement handling

  • Compliance, safety, fraud, or operational holds where permitted by law
     

DAWG may display estimated payout amounts, but final payout amounts may change based on transaction outcomes.

4. REFUNDS AND FEE RETENTION
 

If a session is canceled or refunded, DAWG may retain some or all platform-fee-related amounts depending on:

  • Who initiated the cancellation

  • When the cancellation occurred

  • Whether payment was already captured

  • Whether a refund is full, partial, discretionary, reversed, or disputed

  • Applicable processor outcomes and DAWG’s then-current policies
     

Platform fees are not guaranteed to be refundable unless DAWG expressly states otherwise or applicable law requires a different result.

5. PAYMENT PROCESSORS
 

Payments, refunds, reversals, and payouts may be handled through Stripe or other third-party payment providers.
 

Processor actions may affect:

  • Settlement timing

  • Final refund timing

  • Final payout timing

  • Amounts available for transfer or refund

  • Dispute and reversal outcomes
     

DAWG is not responsible for delays, holds, reversals, or fees imposed by banks, card networks, or payment processors outside DAWG’s control.

6. CHARGEBACKS, DISPUTES, AND REVERSALS
 

If a transaction is disputed, reversed, or charged back through a bank, card network, or processor:

  • DAWG may pause, adjust, or withhold payout activity

  • DAWG may retain, recover, offset, or reverse amounts associated with the transaction where permitted by law and platform rules

  • Additional processor or dispute-related fees may apply

  • Chargeback or dispute outcomes may override ordinary fee, refund, or payout expectations

7. FUTURE SERVICES OR FEATURES
 

If DAWG introduces subscriptions, packages, recurring bookings, premium placement, promotions, or other new paid features, DAWG may charge additional fees or apply different pricing structures. Those fees will be disclosed in-product, in updated policies, or in supplemental terms.

8. NO GUARANTEE OF FEE STRUCTURE
 

DAWG may update its pricing, fee structure, fee allocation, or presentation from time to time.
 

Any updated fee structure applies prospectively unless otherwise stated.

9. POLICY UPDATES
 

DAWG may update this Platform Fee Policy from time to time.
 

Updates are effective upon posting unless otherwise stated.
